Before we began designing our nomadic shelter, my project partner, Jeremy Carman, and I ventured out into the city to research how the current homeless of LA were creating their homes. After many hours of driving and documenting, we stumbled upon this amazing piece of ingenuity [image]. We got inspired by the towable and highly mobile design. The nomadic nature of homeless individuals provided a unique opportunity to create a shelter prototype that allowed users the possibility of freedom and dignity.
